Michael writes, “The front is an image of the GIANT 2015 MAN digitally altered to resemble Leonardo’s Vitruvian Man for the theme Leonardo DaVinci’s Workshop. The back features Vitruvian Man superimposed over Leo’s face for the theme of Davinci’s Workshop.
VARIANT: On a handful of them I turned Leo’s frown upside down and made him happy to be at BURNING MAN.”

Origin: Having learned about BURNING MAN in late Summer ‘97 and not being able to pull it together in time, I had a whole year to plan for BM98. One idea I had was to use the laminator at my job to make for myself a backstage pass style tag. A co-worker who understood the Burner spirit, suggested that instead of just one, I should make a bunch and give them out, So I made 50 of them and found out at BURNING MAN that these laminates were an immediate hit.
