Shannon writes, “It represents the curious bunny with a pocket watch for time keeping. One of the Default World’s deep-rooted symbol of anxiety about societal time pressure bestowed on him. But at Burning Man we are freed from this and “Immediacy” being one of the 10 principles now allows the curious bunny to roam freely and explore.”

Master Jeweler Shannon Shiang is one of the most important and iconic Makers of the Playa. A veteran of many years, she celebrates each Burning Man with a limited edition pendant that only a master jeweler can produce.  Her work is featured in Museums including the 2018 exhibit No Spectators, The Art of Burning Man at the Smithsonian’s Renwick Gallery in Washington D.C. and is published in Karen Christians Jewelry of Burning Man. p71, 77, 78.
