Radiant Effigy, 2026 Ring in Silver by Jay (Fenix) Maningo-Salinas.
Jay writes, “There are 4 main key elements. I made the conscious decision to keep the man’s arms down (instead of up). Historically, this pose represents grounding, creation, and the hard labor of the community. The ring is punctuated with the aerial view of the Temple of the Moon that is placed above and below the man.
The fireworks represent energy, release, celebration and renewal.
Finally, the curlicues are my fun interpretation of the “twisted” experience we go through while on the playa – the connections, interactions and intersections during our time at Black Rock City. “
