The Dust Globe Man is based on the Snow Globe concept. A small amount of Playa Dust is carefully added to each globe. Shaken it creates a whiteout dust storm indicative of the Playa. Jamen emplaned that there was quite a lot of experimentation using the right Playa Dust and the amount to reach the final effect. Reports from others have said that some take up to a month for the whiteout to settle.

Jamen Piercy is a renowned photographer from around the world. He makes the annual pilgrimage to Black Rock City from his home country of Australia. Jamen produces some of the most iconic and memorable photographs of Burning Man. Capturing its people and art which best illustrates the Burning Man Culture. His work has appeared in Museums, including the 2018 exhibit No Spectators, the Art of Burning Man at the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, DC.
