Pendant by Geoff (Fusion) McCabe

Pendant by Geoff (Fusion) McCabe.
People recalled Geoff requesting a small performance art bit or tell a joke to be gifted one.

These beautiful pendants are made from a thousand year old sculptural process called “Millifiore”. Geoff cleverly reinvented this process using Polymer Clay to produce these amazing pendants. This process typically is a number of glass rods of different sizes and colors are fused together in a log and cut into sections which form various patterns. Because it is hand made with many variations in its process, the pattern always has unique outcome with each slice of the log.

His work has been featured in Museums including the 2018 exhibit No Spectators, The Art of Burning Man at the Smithsonian’s Renwick Gallery in Washington D.C. and is published in Karen (Suki) Christians and Christine (Lady Bee) Kristen book, Jewelry of Burning Man p168, 169.

This Artifact is part of the collection Playa Artifacts Museum, (P.A.M.) Tod (TBone) Johnson, Curator.
