Now having a reference year and a bunch of photos, I used one of mine, raised its arms in photoshop and added this year’s full moon to the punch hole spot. Including the first use of UN official NO access PLAY PASS, again added a sticker for the recipient to sign their name.
VARIANT: on the front, used multiple different colors for outer border.”

Origin: Having learned about BURNING MAN in late Summer ‘97 and not being able to pull it together in time,
I had a whole year to plan for BM98. One idea I had was to use the laminator at my job to make for myself a
Backstage pass style tag. A co-worker who understood the Burner spirit, suggested that instead of just one,
I should make a bunch and give them out, So I made 50 of them and found out at BURNING MAN that these
laminates were an immediate hit.
