2000 UNofficial NOaccess PLAYA PASS 2, Pendant by Michael Heneghan.

Michael writes, “Now committed to using my own photographs of the MAN on the front. Created number font for year 2000 featuring dancing Burning Man that I also used the following year. Now using an Email identifier on back of Playa Pass.
VARIANT: Two different photos on back featuring myself at the hay bailed base of the MAN. Also made a few variations where I changed the color of the Man and the fonts from the orange originals.”

Origin: Having learned about BURNING MAN in late Summer ‘97 and not being able to pull it together in time,
I had a whole year to plan for BM98. One idea I had was to use the laminator at my job to make for myself a
Backstage pass style tag. A co-worker who understood the Burner spirit, suggested that instead of just one,
I should make a bunch and give them out, So I made 50 of them and found out at BURNING MAN that these
laminates were an immediate hit.
