Michael writes, “The photo is of the 2003 Man at the top of the pyramid base. The back reflects the ‘04 Vault of Heaven theme. I placed a small image of the Burning Man on the spot where we first landed a man on moon. Jupiter was used because it was visible all week on the Playa.”

Origin: Having learned about BURNING MAN in late Summer ‘97 and not being able to pull it together in time,
I had a whole year to plan for BM98. One idea I had was to use the laminator at my job to make for myself a
Backstage pass style tag. A co-worker who understood the Burner spirit, suggested that instead of just one,
I should make a bunch and give them out, So I made 50 of them and found out at BURNING MAN that these
laminates were an immediate hit.
