Michael writes, “The front photo is of the MAN on top of the ‘09 Evolution waffle base with the sun and dust creating a METROPOLIS like robot image. The back features my METropolis design based on the NY Mets logo, which I entered in the official BM sticker design competition. First ever reference to my Facebook page which I have done ever since.”

Origin: Having learned about BURNING MAN in late Summer ‘97 and not being able to pull it together in time, I had a whole year to plan for BM98. One idea I had was to use the laminator at my job to make for myself a backstage pass style tag. A co -worker who understood the Burner spirit, suggested that instead of just one, I should make a bunch and give them out, So I made 50 of them and found out at BURNING MAN that these laminates were an immediate hit.
