Michael writes, “The front is the 2018 I Robot Man base pre burn fireworks. Unfortunately, I made the PlayaPasses and then was unable to attend BM, so as a result, not too many people have one of these. The back for 2019 theme Metamorphoses has the Man as a transitioning butterfly with wings on fire.”

Origin: Having learned about BURNING MAN in late Summer ‘97 and not being able to pull it together in time, I had a whole year to plan for BM98. One idea I had was to use the laminator at my job to make for myself a backstage pass style tag. A co -worker who understood the Burner spirit, suggested that instead of just one, I should make a bunch and give them out, So I made 50 of them and found out at BURNING MAN that these laminates were an immediate hit.
