Michael writes, “The front is a photo of 2023’s Beehive Man base during pre-burn fireworks. On the back ‘23’s Curiouser & Curiouser theme made me think of the Cheshire Cat with the word BURNINGMAN for his smiling teeth and the Man emerging from his eyebrows and cat ears.”

Origin: Having learned about BURNING MAN in late Summer ‘97 and not being able to pull it together in time, I had a whole year to plan for BM98. One idea I had was to use the laminator at my job to make for myself a backstage pass style tag. A co -worker who understood the Burner spirit, suggested that instead of just one, I should make a bunch and give them out, So I made 50 of them and found out at BURNING MAN that these laminates were an immediate hit.
