Build the Man is an on-Playa workshop where participants assemble an 87-piece, precision laser-cut wooden model of the iconic Man Effigy.This postcard is dedicated to Russell, our laser fabricator,” whose craftsmanship and support make the workshop possible. Each participant is invited to handwrite a personal message of gratitude, sharing their thanks and reflecting on what the workshop experience meant to them.

At the conclusion of the workshop, the postcards are collected and mailed from Black Rock City, receiving the official Burning Man postmark and cancellation mark as a unique keepsake from the Playa.
