Don’t Step On The Mome Raths, 2024 Patch by Charles Voelger and Darriel Daniels.

Charles writes, “The design is made to make the man look like one of the mome raths as shown in the Disney Alice in Wonderland animated film. ”

In Alice in Wonderland a Mome Rath is short for ‘from home’, meaning that they’d lost their way. “A species of Badger [which] had smooth white hair, long hind legs, and short horns like a stag [and] lived chiefly on cheese.” – Explanatory book notes comment that ‘Mome’ means to seem ‘grave’ and a ‘Rath’: is “a species of land turtle.

This Artifact is also part of the collection of Swag of Burning Man and Playa Artifacts Museum.
