A 2 tone and Gold Plate Pendant. The Gold he uses for plating comes from his gold mine claim. Orr is crushed and refined to pure gold.

Joel writes in a post for the One Eyed Monster Fundraiser, “My Embrace Pendant is about embracing Burning Man. There is no front or back as this pendant can be worn either way.
The City with the BMan, here the Man embraces the city and holds it tight. The Man is represented by 3 levels, each representing LIVE, LOVE, and DANCE. The Man is gold plated, with the city silver plated.
The 10 BM Principles, BMan, fire, and heart represent the core of being a burner. Burners are a clan, and because of this, we embrace the 10 BM Principles. Beyond embracing, we understand fire and love (heart) are core to celebrating the culture of Burning Man. The heart is a three-step representing love, birth, and life. The fire and heart represent birth, rebirth, destruction, and rebirth; we shall rise again by love from the ashes, a resurgence of sorts!”

Joel (Sargent Pepper) Briggs is one of the Playas most prolific and artistic makers. Each year he pushes the his concepts past the boundaries in both in material and production methods.
