Emotions, 2024 Pedant by Joel (Sargent Pepper) Briggs.
This special Iridescence “Spinner” Pendant uses a center spinning element.  The Design was by a group effort in a special workshop of some 30+ Burners on Playa in 2023.
The production of this 2 piece pendant was a technical challenge and took several attempts to develop it into production.

Sargent Pepper writes, “The Emotions Pendant comes from a Porta Potty (the shape of the pendant) on the Playa, where a message radiated about life with a YES! We decided to use this as the basis of a pendant. The pendant was designed on the Playa with +30 other Burners. It is just under 2” tall with an Iridescence finish (rainbow). The center spins to represent a bond by emotions (heart).”

Joel (Sargent Pepper) Briggs is one of the Playas most prolific and artistic makers. Each year he pushes the his concepts past the boundaries in both in material and production methods. Joel also uses precious metals that at comes from his own mining claim. He blasts out the ore which is then crushed and refined to pure gold.!
