The Sagebrush Saloon is a no-frills neighborhood watering hole, pouring cold beers and whatever spirits happen to be gifted by generous neighbors. Its charm lies in its simplicity — a ready-to-assemble plywood bar, surrounded by mismatched stools and good company. Laughter and lively conversation spill out late into the night, drawing folks in from blocks away.

Formerly known as Playa Springs, this laid-back spot usually pops up somewhere on the east side of the city, nestled in the Open Camping area. In 2022, the camp changed hands and with it came a new name: The Sagebrush Saloon. Same spirit, just with a little more dust and a lot more character.
