Emily writes, ““I’ve been creating insect jewelry since October of 2018, when I discovered the process of electroforming. This is my first production piece, which was inspired by the great theme of Metamorphoses this year. When people think of “metamorphosis”, often a butterfly is what comes to mind – but there are over 350,000 described beetle species (many of which are as beautiful as any butterfly), all of which also go through metamorphosis!”
