As told by the artist, “Did or did it not happen this year? It was a bit of a disaster with so many events that stood canceled. I would like to imagine in an alternative universe floating around in outer space no virus had erupted, and all of the festivals moved ahead. I was inspired by my 2019 experience when I reconnected with a DJ friend from NYC that I had not seen in more than 30 years at an intimate camp party. He invited me to see him perform and experience his set on one of the big sound cars for sunrise. The music was a perfect dance partner with the big orange ball in the sky. This was so magical that it felt like I was floating.”
