2026 Game Puzzle – Jewelry Version Pendant by Joel (Sargent Pepper) Briggs.
Joel writes about the Puzzle,
“And to all who carry one…
There are two more hidden “points.”
Find them, and they’ll direct you toward a riddle… of sorts.
But this one takes two.
Follow it correctly, and in the “end” waits a trove—
gold, silver, platinum, and more.
Twenty-eight pendants in all… and a red box of hope!
And among them, this pendant cast in 22k gold and set with four precious stones.
But be wary, Burner…
One wrong turn,
one careless spin,
and what you seek may be lost forever.
Destruction is only one revolution away.
Do it right, though, and night becomes your friend.
Two points.
Two people.
One end.
Find Morse.
Then follow the darkness.
Good luck.“
Joel writes about the materials used: “Twelve of these pendants were fabricated from 16-gauge 301 stainless steel that had a former life as a thermal barrier aboard a rocket launched in June 2023. In April of this year, I was commissioned to fabricate ten medallion-style pendants for a government agency. When the work was completed, I was permitted to retain the remaining material. From that remnant, I made these twelve pieces. Each of the twelve is accompanied by certification from the agency, along with the original material inspection record documenting its provenance.
Two will be gifted at this year’s Burn.
The remaining ten are reserved for people who are very dear to me. Each will eventually be given to one of them, together with a personal note, upon my death. These twelve pieces are distinguished by the finer, more delicate geometry of the planet and stars at the base of the pendant, along with the more intricate detailing of the BM effigy.
An additional fifty pendants were fabricated from 316L stainless steel. Those pieces are identifiable by the heavier, thicker features in the same area and the BM effigy being bigger and with no details.
The intricacy of the design, particularly the finer cut details, made finishing these far more involved than their size might suggest. Conventional polishing methods were not sufficient, so I developed a few creative techniques specifically for these pieces. Each pendant required approximately one to two hours of hand finishing to bring the stainless to its final shine.
They are small objects, but there is a considerable amount of history, labor, and intention contained in each one.”
